Objective: To develop creative thinking skills, children will write a newspaper article
Materials: Paper/pencil or newspaper computer program
Procedures and activities:

1. Read aloud and allow children to read numerous newspaper articles.

2. Show the children that each article answers the 'Wh" questions in a short, concise, and interesting way. Also each article has a catchy title to encourage readers to read them.

3. Assign the children to read then write an article that will relay Plenty Coups' adventure as a 12 boy stealing the horses from the camp of his own warriors.
